We are Wax Interactive, an international digital experience & omnichannel commerce agency with roots in Belgium. As a part of the SQLI group – that has over 2400 passionate digital natives across 13 countries – our daily mission is to create a close relationship between customers and brands or companies.
The secret to do so? (Love) stories! By explaining how a product or service can help consumers in their daily life, we generate brand preference and moreover: sales.
Our stories are written down carefully, shared on social media, translated to (UX/UI) design, wireframed in user-friendly (Drupal) sites, mapped in customer journeys, distributed via influencer marketing and optimised via converting (e-commerce) media strategies. In short: we make sure people see them, share them and want more of them!

From brand discovery to loyalty: we help you to reach customers at each step of the journey. A funnel approach it is! That's why we first try to convince and generate awareness, then conquer by creating an experience and afterwards push the interested audience towards a sale. But it doesn't stop at a conversion, we need to contain the consumers too. So we manage loyalty programs and marketing automation projects.

Back in the days, brands could buy TV spots or advertising space and increase sales by just generating awareness. Nowadays, we want and need more impact. That’s why we create campaigns that generate measurable results – like eCommerce sales for Pizza Hut, B2B sample requests for interior architects or even drive-to-store visits . Getting in touch with the target audience at just the right time & place is what we’re aiming for!

When you say media strategy, we say ROAS! From always-on SEA and bannering campaigns to social ads: retailers such as Colruyt or Medi-Market or eCommerce players such as Eleven Sport, Baunat love our conversion-driven approach. Whether it’s Google Shopping, the Amazon Marketplace or Coolblue: the tactics we select match exactly with the objectives of our e-commerce clients.
Influencers: do they matter?
Are they a short hype or not-to-oversee partners that could generate actual results? We stan the second option and prove so to our clients, by selecting great matches (like we did for Hépar), proposing long-term strategies (go check #MyBerryAlloc!) or organising impactful events like we did for the Yes! bars by Nestlé.
Digital experience platform: from UX to web development
Forget about ‘just a website’, we want to reach consumers at every possible digital touch point. That’s why our digital experience platforms fit the unicity of the people visiting them, and why we’re running design sprints with customers to identify beneficial new services and approaches based on personas and experience mapping. We use both open source technologies like Drupal, as well as premium DXPs like SalesForce, Adobe and SAP. Casually dropping some names here: Airbus, Cointreau, Nespresso are satisfied clients.
Digital that sells: e-commerce
With over 20 years of experience in developing e-commerce websites, we’re not afraid to say we’re experts in this domain. We know all the tricks to improve UX and moreover conversions, both for B2C and B2B clients – who have their specific requirements like stock level & supply chain management integrations. Bridgestone, Arcelor Mittal, Airbus, Nestlé, Medi-Market and Natan are only some of the e-commerce platforms we manage.
The power of marketing automation
Whether it’s to speed up the acquisition of new clients, to level up the value of their basket or to retain and reactivate current shoppers: marketing automation allows us to identify all groups of customers and their specific expectations. Via automated scenarios – think: abandoned cart or birthday mails, friend referrals and up- or cross-selling – we improve results for i.a. Electrolux, Medi-Market, Airbus and Planet Parfum.
From social branding to social selling?
With over 7.5 million social media users in Belgium, platforms like the Facebook network and YouTube are the top performers when you want to reach new clients or make current ones loyal. Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of several platforms and their audiences (from youngster hype TikTok to long-term traffic booster Pinterest) we define effective and custom-made strategies that go from brand awareness to conversion. We do so for international brands like Panasonic, Tissot and Eau Thermale Avène, but also for our national prides like Colruyt, Gamma and E5 mode.
