a new website focused on gourmet experiences

Jean Galler is a belgian chocolate maker whose standing has become international in recent years. his chocolates are available in more than 2,000 points of sale in more than 30 countries around the world. wax interactive overhauled the galler website platform. it was launched in 2016 under the name ‘gourmet experiences’. the new website reinforces the presence of wax in the ‘digital food’ sector.

The context

Two years ago, Galler overhauled its visual identity. The communication is now focused on good food and fun, with the ‘Gourmet Experiences’ concept. First launched in the points of sale, they recently went digital with the improvement of their website in 2016.

WAX Interactive was responsible for the new graphic style, the technology and content of its web platform. The objectif was to offer an immersive experience that was warm, enjoyable and attractive throughout the universe of the brand.

The solution

To be able to exploit the concept of ‘Gourmet Experiences’ to the fullest and to offer its customers a real digital experience, the teams from WAX Interactive realized a new website that is more dynamic and vibrant. Thanks to the parallax technology, they were able to add motion and depth.

To provide the visitor with a moment of joy, every product is presented and valued by an experience. This is illustrated with pictures that show the passion for chocolate, that emerge a need, but that also orchestrates the connection between the customer and chocolate.

The website also has a built-in store locator, that offers a greater visibility to the boutiques and points of sales that sell the brand.
